JAGUAR ON ANOTHER THREATENING PRODUCTION EVER

Jaguar has decided to stiffen the completion even more by introducing a super-car into the series of already produced super-cars that existed. This will see most of the super-cars producing companies get to their top notch to try maintain their production legacy if not beat Jaguar’s introduction. First Mentioned in Paris Auto Show last year, still as an idea, facts have it that William F1 will join hands in the final production of the C-X75 SUPER-CAR.

By brief mentioning, the C-X75 SUPER-CAR is said to be not only SUPER-FAST but also SUPER-EFFICIENT compared to other super-cars already produced earlier and also the best of its kind in the market. 

Although its engineering is similar to the awaited PORSCHE 918, it is speculated that the C-X75 SUPER-CAR will enormously economize gas combustion by an approximate of 60mpg over an electric range of about 40 miles. This makes it even more economical than other super-cars.

Jaguar mentioned the most amazing thing about the car and specifically it was to do 60 mph in less than 3 seconds, and hitting 100mph in less than one minute. C-X75 SUPER-CAR will not outrun its speed limiter until it hits a speed of 200mph making it a hyper-car breed.

Featuring all-wheel drive with a displacement of four cylinder turbo boost engine, it will consist of an extremely powerful electric motor fixed at each axle.

With the two seater’s styling, Jaguar tends to bring C-X75SUPER-CAR to market in its series of productions and introducing another level of hyper-cars manufacturing to another level.

TOYOTA MOTORS

Toyota Motor surpassed the milestone of 10 million unit sales in 2014, taking the lead as the world’s largest automaker.

And although it lost out on the top spot for the first half of 2015, Volkswagen's ascension to the top spot is not a particularly devastating blow to Toyota, which remains immensely profitable and retains strong global market share.

 

Riding on the back of the ever falling Yen, Toyota's operating profit margin was 10.1%, while Volkswagen's global operating profit margin was 6.3%. With the Yen expected to continue its fall and Toyota's U.S. sales expected to maintain its growth (5.2% in the first half of 2015), it may be still too early to write off Toyota as the king of auto sales in 2015.

According to Amazing Rides, Car producing companies receive roughly $3,000 more for each vehicle sold when the yen depreciates from 78 (its 2013 levels) to 100 (its 2014 levels) yen per dollar. Currently the Yen sits at 125 per dollar.

In the auto industry, sales matter but profit is king, and profits are tremendously impacted by currency fluctuations. With the Yen and Euro falling in value throughout 2015, one can expect Japanese and European auto makers to continue their strong run. 

VOLKSWAGEN

Number of Employees: 592,586 

The biggest industry news of this year came from Volkswagen, which surpassed Toyota as the world's largest automaker in the first half of 2015, despite falling sales in the U.S. Whether the German automaker can retain the #1 title for the full year remains to be seen.

In the U.S., sales of the Volkswagen vehicles fell 10% in 2014, despite a 5.9% gain in overall industry sales. For the first six months of 2015, Volkswagen brand sales fell 2.6%, compared to a 4.4% increase for the overall industry.

However, given that the automaker claimed the top spot in China, the world's largest vehicle market, and remains dominant in Europe, 2015 is looking to be a bright year for the company.

GENERAL MOTORS

General Motors had a record 2014, with sales up more than 2 percent from 2013’s record led by strength from North America and China. 

2015 is set to be another strong year for GM and its 4 brands, as record truck demand and an overall boom in the North American market is expected to offset slowing sales in China. 

The American automaker is also benefiting from external market conditions, as it saw its 2015 2Q profits rise despite declining global vehicle deliveries and a 3.5 percent decline in worldwide revenue.

RENAULT - NISSAN ALLIANCE

Unit Sales (2014): 8.47 million

Number of Employees: 450,000

The French-Japanese partnership increased combined global vehicle sa

les by 2.5%, with higher demand for Nissan vehicles in the U.S.

and Renault’s strong performance in a recovering Western Europe helping to lift 2014 global volume to a record for the alliance.

 

The partnership is forecast to have another strong year in 2015, as the low Euro and Japanese Yen are expected to boost profits. Renault has already seen its profits rise a stunning 86% thanks to the weakening euro while Nissan has seen global revenue increase 2.6% despite losing 2.1% in sales and continued poor performance in key markets

HYUNDAI MOTORS

Country of Origin: South Korea

Unit Sales (2014): 7.71 million

Number of Employees: 249,366

The South Korean conglomerate (which includes Kia) had a remarkably difficult 2014, and it is expected to continue to struggle through 2015. The number one reason for the struggle? The strong Korean currency.

In 2014, Hyundai's sales rose 4.8% and its sales revenue increased 2.2%, but it's net profit fell an astounding 14%. With the Japanese Yen dropping 12% in value in 2014, the Korean Won has seen its value rise to hit a seven-year high, cutting into the company's profits from overseas sales. Similar struggles are expected to continue this year, with the Japanese Yen and Chinese Yuan expected to continue to fall in value as both countries attempt to boost exports by cheapening its currencies.

FORD MOTORS

Unit Sales (2014): 6.32 million

Number of Employees: 224,000

Ford is continuing its winning streak, posting $4.27 billion in pre-tax profit in 2015, up 7.3% from a year ago. Also, Ford reported record profits in North America on the back of high sales numbers for its sport utility vehicles and trucks.

A good starting point indeed this 2016 as tax and incentives on vehicles is revised to suite almost 80% of the world’s market purchasers. There are also separate credits available for plug-in hybrid vehicles, too.

Thanks to the 2016 electric car tax incentives and rebates, along with improved pricing from the automakers, it’s never been easier on your wallet to enjoy the zero-emissions, all-electric driving benefits of a modern-day EV. While finding the MSRP of an EV is a simple process, however, making sure that you’ve cashed in on all available discounts to minimize a stated sticker price can be a challenge.

And there’s a surprisingly wide range of state and local tax incentives for EV purchasers as well, in some cases providing substantial financial benefits and not just in the states you’d expect. Colorado, for instance, offers up to $6,000 in state tax credits for purchasers of electric vehicles, which comes on top of the federal tax credit, while Louisiana furnishes a tax credit for up to 10 percent of the cost of an electric vehicle (up to $3,000). 2016 hast begun ans so do most car companies... Scheduled earlier or later, production of amazing 2016 rides has just started at a high note, and some are just waiting to hit the showrooms as their prices have already been set. Check out these 2016 amazing rides and get ready to part with lots of cash to upgrade your class, style and fame.

1. ROLLS-ROYCE DAWN

AFTER the success of the gorgeous Wraith Coupe, Rolls-Royce will add this Dawn drop-top to its range in the spring.

While smaller and substantially less imposing than the Phantom Drop head Coupe, the Dawn is no short-straw, with the immaculate quality and materials that you would expect of a car wearing Eleanor Thornton on its bonnet. Our favorite detail is unquestionably the matt finish wooden tonneau cover.

Under the bonnet is the usual 6.6-litre, V12 petrol engine. As well as being fear-somely fast, Rolls expects it to be the quietest drop-top on the market.

After five consecutive years of record sales, everyone expects the Dawn to help Rolls-Royce to continue that run of success in 2016.

2. BENTLEY BENTAYGA

ROLLS-ROYCE and Lamborghini are both working on their own large off-roads but the Bentayga will be the first of the uber-luxury mud-pluggers to hit the road. The 6.0-liter, 12-cylinder car won't do anything by halves: a 0 to 60mph time of just 4.0 seconds and a top speed of 187mph should convince people of that.

Inside, the usual gorgeous traditional handcrafted wood and leather will be allied to the very latest high-tech features.

Plug-in hybrid and diesel-engines models will appear in due course and don't be too surprised to see a sleeker coupe version at some point.

3. JAGUAR F-PACE

If  most luxury producing rides don't  game up production of cool and classy Convertible, the new Jaguar will hold up position for eternity.

The F-Pace is the maker's first crossover and will go head-to-head with the likes of the Porsche Macan for the title of the best handling 4x4 in 2016.

There'll be 2.0 and 3.0-litre turbo-diesels and a 380bhp supercharged 3.0-liter borrowed from the F-Type capable of 0 to 60mph in just 5.5 seconds.

With emissions starting from just 129g/km and a surprising amount of interior space, much is expected of the F-Pace in 2016.

4.TOYOTA PRIUS

HYBRIDS might be growing in popularity but one name stands above the rest - the Toyota Prius. Apparently Toyota has made a debut to amaze the entire world by featuring in the production of top 2016 hottest rides.

This will be the fourth generation Prius, more than three million of which have been sold worldwide since it was launched in 1997.

Lower, longer and wider than the current model, the Japanese maker is promising improved refinement and driving dynamics.

The Prius takes some of its styling cues from Toyota's highly styled Mirai hydrogen fuel-cell car, which might not be to everyone's tastes.

What will be to their tastes however are 70g/km emissions and 94.2mpg, both of which are way ahead of most alternatively fueled vehicles.

5. RANGE ROVER EVOQUE CONVERTIBLE

The Convertible is expected to account for 15 per cent of Evoque sales, going down particularly well on America's wealthy West Coast. THIS is a car you'll either love or hate. Either way, there's no denying that the hardtop Evoque has propelled Land Rover into entirely new lifestyle-led markets.

With an expected £5,000 premium over the three-door Coupe, the Convertible certainly won't be cheap but its popularity is virtually guaranteed.

With a roof that can be lowered in just 18 seconds while the car is on the move, it could also be a very messy way to go off-road.

6. FIAT ABARTH 124 SPIDER

Over 30 years after the Fiat Spider left the showrooms, the two- seater drop-top is back. In truth, this 124 was meant to be the next Alfa Romeo Spider before parent company Fiat changed its plans.

If its proportions look familiar, you're not mistaken because beneath the skin is a Mazda MX-5. The good news is that the MX-5 won Best Convertible in our 2015 Motoring Oscars. The bad news is that Fiat has put its own a 140bhp 1.4-liter turbo under the bonnet. How that pans out has yet to be seen.

The Spider isn't the only car that Fiat is reviving this year. It is also bringing back the Tipo hatchback as well as the new Alfa Romeo Giulia saloon.

7. KIA SPORTAGE

MORE than 100,000 Kia Sportages have been sold since the current model arrived in 2010. And that's not by luck. The Sportage has been one of our favorite crossovers for years and it's certainly one of the best-looking too.

This new model continues that with its stunning, aggressive styling and a lower, wider and longer body, which means more interior space.

There's also much-improved build quality and materials plus updated engines including the twin-clutch semi-automatic gearbox already seen in the Cee'd GT hatchback. As before, expect a high-spec First Edition model.

Kia may need to up its game in terms of driving dynamics but the Sportage is one of our most eagerly awaited cars of the next 12 months.

8. FORD FOCUS RS

This will never be taken for granted meaning without putting yourself out to really spend a lot on it you will have to lay off. In fact this rule has applied to all ford cars meaning this will not be an exception.

When it arrives, it will be one of the fastest RS models ever with a 0 to 60mph time of less than 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 165mph thanks to a 2.3-litre turbo and four-wheel drive - seen for the first time since the mighty Escort Cost worth of the 1990s.

As ever, expect extreme looks with a huge rear roof spoiler, deep front bumper, widened wheel arches, 19in black alloy wheels and rally-style Recaro bucket seats.

Not that buyers need much convincing. Ford has already taken more than 1,500 orders in the showrooms alone. And that's before anyone has even taken a test drive.

Lamborghini has pretty much admitted that it's planning a low-volume hyper-car to take on the Ferrari LaFerrari, which we'll finally get to see soon at motor shows.

Now, Piston heads has spoken with the soon-to-be-departed CEO of Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann, to get a few juicy new tidbits about the upcoming hyper-car. 

When asked if the Super-Car, which will celebrate the 100th anniversary of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini, will be based on a unique platform, Winkelmann said, "it won't be unique. To do 20 cars, we will always use the platform of one of our existing cars. But in terms of design, in terms of performance and in terms of innovation it will be a completely different car."

Asked to clarify on the platform, he added, "Usually when we go into the very limited car numbers we pick the Aventador as the base." 

Past rumors have held that the unnamed hyper-car would be based on the Aventador LP750-4,

with up to 800 horsepower and performance numbers to beat all previous Lamborghinis. It would also, allegedly, have a seven-figure price tag. But it probably won't be turbocharged, or hybrid: As Winkelmann told us back in November, "for the sports cars today, we tend to say there is no engine better than a naturally aspirated engine."

1.PORSCHE CAYENNE TURBO - 4.4 SECONDS

Surprised?! Well you shouldn’t be. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo is second on the list, sporting a powerful 4.8-liter V8 turbocharged engine with 500 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. Starting from $111,395, the Cayenne Turbo gets an impressive 15 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway, all while hitting 60 mph in 4.4 seconds.

 

2. BMWX6 M - 4.5 SECONDS

BMW calls it a “Sports Activity Vehicle,” but we all know is it’s really an SUV with a cramped back seat. The X6 M packs a punch with its 4.4-liter V8 turbocharged engine with 555 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, all while delivering the same fuel efficiency as the ML63 AMG at 13 mpg city, 17 mpg highway. Priced from $94,825 it’s actually cheaper than the ML63 AMG and is faster too, doing the 0-60 sprint in just 4.5 seconds. Just don’t plan on bringing any 2nd row passengers.

 

3. MERCEDES-BENZ ML63 AMG - 4.7 SECONDS

The second Mercedes-Benz vehicle on the list is the ML63 AMG which is also powered by a 5.5-liter V8 Biturbo engine, but provides 518 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque – less than the same engine in the G63 AMG. But the ML63 is a lot more aerodynamic and lighter than the G63, allowing it to accelerate to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. And considering it’s a popular and more convention SUV, it’s no surprise to see the high-end model provide 13 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway. The ML63 AMG starts from $98,175.

 

4. JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE SRT8 - 4.8 SECONDS

The sole American vehicle on this list is the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, packing plenty of domestic muscle with its 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine with 470 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. Available at a respectable $64,990, the Grand Cherokee SRT8 gets 13 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway while accelerating to 60 mph from 0 in just 4.8 seconds.

 

5. BMWX5 XDRIVE50I - 4.9 SECONDS

While the 2014 BMW X5 M hasn’t been introduced (and may have been axed entirely, enthusiasts can still opt for the X5 xDrive50i which features a 4.4-liter V8 turbocharged engine providing 445 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque with a $69,125 price tag. The BMW X5 xDrive50i gets 14 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway, but is able to accelerate 0-60 in just 4.9 seconds.

 

6. RANGE ROVER SPORT SUPERCHARGED - 5.0 SECONDS

Like the Land Rover brand but want something sportier? The Range Rover Sport can also be had with the same supercharged engine as the standard Range Rover, offering 510 hp and 461 lb-ft of torque in a more stylish and affordable package. That means for $79,100 you get to have a faster SUV, hitting 60 mph in 5.0 seconds flat, while getting better fuel economy at 17 mpg city, 23 mpg highway.

 

7. AUDISQ5

The Audi SQ5 is the German automaker’s answer to a high-performance SUV without compromise. One of the more fuel-efficient SUVs on the list (and also the smallest), the SQ5 gets an EPA-estimated 16 mpg city, 23 mpg highway rating. It’s also the cheapest car on our list, starting from $52,795 while offering 354 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque from its 3.0-liter V6 supercharged engine. While those specifications don’t scream off the page – it is also the least powerful SUV on the list – the SQ5 manages to accelerate to 60 mph from a standstill in 5.1 seconds.

 

8. RANGE ROVER SUPERCHARGED - 5.1 SECONDS

There’s a lot to like about the all new Range Rover, especially considering the stylish SUV can be had with a 5.0-liter V8 supercharged power plant. Offering 510 hp and 461 lb-ft of torque, the Range Rover Supercharged accelerates to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds and will cost you $100,995 to partake in the fun. Its city fuel economy is a bit on the low side at 13 mpg, but it does get an EPA-estimated 19 mpg on the highway.

9. MERCEDES-BENZ G63 AMG - 5.3 SECONDS

Starting off the list is this fast brick Mercedes-BenzG63 AMG, with its unique rugged styling, some would argue its styling is out-of-date. Regardless, it’s still one of the fastest SUVs in today’s marketplace accelerating to 60 mph from a standstill in just 5.3 seconds.

Under the hood is a 5.5-liter V8 Bi-turbo engine from AMG, sporting 536 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque. It all comes at a price though, with the G63 AMG starting from $136,625 including destination. Even more discouraging is the fact that the G63 AMG has the worst fuel efficiency out of all the vehicles on the list, getting 12 mpg in the city and 14 mpg on the highway. In other words, you can get faster for less, while saving more gas.

It’s worth mentioning that the Porsche Cayenne GTS barely missed the list with a 0-60 time of 5.4 seconds. Powered by a 4.8-liter V8 with 420 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque, the Cayenne GTS is priced from $84,295 while providing 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.
